On 8 November 2022, our ICT students were at Ajar Technology in Brentford where they participated in the following activities:

  1. Cybersecurity related activity
  2. Network infrastructure
  3. Command and control
  4. Programming.

Alongside Ajar’s IT Networks Manager and AV Technical Manager, our students looked at current trends and challenges in cyber and cloud security. They also worked on some technical design, specifically around the requirements for a control room.

To assist with their own planning and technical design, the company gave the students a behind the scenes look at the Control Room technology which they have deployed for UK Police Forces and Heathrow Airport.

Tara McLaughlin, Sales & Marketing Manager, at Ajar Technology thanked our students for their enthusiasm and engagement and said that they “demonstrated great understanding of their courses and how this would apply to a business such as Ajar. They impressed many people at Ajar and clearly have bright futures ahead of them”.
