Placing your child at West Thames College Nursery whilst you study will offer you the flexibility to learn and have your childcare needs taken care of at the same time.
We are rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and a purposed built nursery operating on the grounds of West Thames College, for children aged 3 months - 5 years. The nursery is bright and spacious with a large secure outdoor area for children to access on a daily basis. We also have a separate sensory room. The nursery is on one floor and each classroom leads out onto the outdoor area.
The nursery is for children aged 3 months to 3 years and has four rooms separated by age range, with capacity for 80 children.
The nursery is graduate-led, with staff having a wide range of appropriate early years’ qualifications ranging from BA Honours in Early Years and Special Education Needs to NVQ Level 3 Children’s Care, Learning and Development. We have a diverse staff team, reflecting the local community within which the nursery is situated.
Our nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and children are offered a wide range of activities to support their social, language, communication and physical skills. The Nursery supports children with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language.
