The West London Chamber’s Awards are held every year to celebrate growing business success across Hounslow, Ealing, and Hammersmith & Fulham. The Chamber champions the businesses of three boroughs by supporting them and being their business voice, as well as encouraging new start-ups that innovate and meet the demands of the marketplace.
The event saw a record-breaking turnout, with 300 attendees filling the venue to capacity. Alan Rides, CEO of West London Chambers, highlighted the critical role of collaboration between education and business, stating: "London is not just a city; it’s a global hub of trade and services, accounting for 90% of the UK’s service exports. With its unique diversity and central role in the global economy, west London’s economy truly brings the world together to trade and innovate.
"This is helped by the fact that West Thames College exemplifies the vital connection between education and local business, producing highly skilled students and apprentices who strengthen companies and drive success. Their recognition as ‘London’s Number 1 College in London*’ highlights their vital role in being a cornerstone of our region’s economic growth and innovation."
