In a showcase of exceptional talent emerging from the UK’s logistics sector, West Thames College’s ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award winner Aaron Barnett, was honoured at the Institute of Couriers National Courier Awards, earning him the esteemed ‘Student of the Year’ award.
Aaron’s recognition as the best of the best logistics apprentice student reflects his unwavering commitment to excellence. A promising apprentice in IT solutions at dnata Logistics, Aaron was commended for his remarkable contribution to the field.
Tracy Aust, Principal and CEO of West Thames College, expressed admiration for his success, remarking: “Our students fulfil their dreams, and winners this evening stand out from the crowd. Well done to the logistics cohort; you should be very proud.”
The event drew esteemed attendees, including the Shadow Skills Minister Seema Malhotra MP, Mayor Carol Smith, and Carl Lomas, Chair of the Logistics Skills Alliance (LSA).
