On the 15th October 2021, our female students from Level 3 Aviation were invited to the ‘Girls in Aviation Day’ event hosted by United Airlines at Heathrow Airport.
This annual event was a fantastic opportunity for our girls and it gave them real insight and hands-on experience of the different career choices that are available in the Aviation industry.
The event included a tour of Heathrow Airport where our students explored all areas in the industry including security, immigration and information on how to become a pilot.
During the course of the day, students had the chance to board a working United Airlines aircraft where they had a great time practicing their PA announcements and practicing CPR on a baby doll.
