Manraj has been an Independent Governor since July 2024.
Manraj works in the Global Data Science & Analytics team at Starbucks as a Decision Scientist. He has spent the past 16 years in roles in Finance, Management Consulting, Business Transformation, Data Analytics, with a number of large international businesses across a range of industries including retail, aerospace & defence, legal, public sector, energy & utilities, professional services & charity. He is passionate about helping organisations improve and move forward with a focus on process automation and enabling the right business actions and outcomes through insights and analysis.
Manraj has also been an Independent advisor to a number of charities and arts organisations over the past 10 years.
Hobbies and interests include being a foodie, running, art galleries and films. Supporting a humanitarian aid charity further their work, having been on 10 disaster relief missions to war zones and natural disasters.
Manraj grew up in the area and is keen to help the College continue to transform young people's lives.
Manraj became a Governor because he is passionate about the next generation, the education and leadership development they receive in enabling social mobility and access to opportunities. I believe education is a transformative tool entitling and enabling people to fulfil their dreams and ambitions.
