Entry Requirements
You must be 19 years old or over and have 4 GCSEs at grades A*-C / grades 9-4 (including English and Maths). Alternatively, you may have a Level 2 qualification in Hair & Beauty or Art & Design, plus 2 GCSEs at grade A*-C / grades 9-4 in English and maths or Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths. You must have a passion for the makeup industry and some makeup or hairdressing experience would be helpful. You need to be able to work well with people, have good manual dexterity, and good design and presentation skills. Progression
You can progress to the HND or HNC in Specialist Makeup, or into employment in hair salons, as a makeover demonstrator, or in TV or in the media as a trainee makeup artist.

Assessment Method
Through continual assessment of practical and written work, some multi choice paper testing of knowledge, tasks and assignments. All students must be available for the yearly external verifier visit.
