  • About the Course
    For students who want to work as electricians in the building services engineering sector. This course includes theory and practice and is designed as a starting point for those seeking to become trained electricians. Principles of electrical systems Electrical installation technology Health and safety Installation of wiring systems.
  • Entry Requirements
    At least 2 GCSEs at grade D / grade 3 or above or successful completion of the Level 1 Diploma or a relevant foundation course.
  • Progression
    This course provides a good grounding to go on to a Level 3 Qualification or an advanced apprenticeship. To gain the full electrician certificate you will have 4 years of industrial experience in electrical installations, and have obtained the Level 2 and Level 3 technical certificates or an NVQ Level 3.
  • Assessment Method
    Assessment will take the form of online multiple choice tests and practical assignments.
