Apprenticeships

Employers

There are different types of apprenticeships. The good news is that wherever you start, there will be an apprenticeship programme that is right for you.

Intermediate apprenticeships Level 2 Equivalent to 5 good GCSEs
Advanced apprenticeships Level 3 Equivalent to 2 A Levels or a Level 3 BTEC
Higher apprenticeships Level 4/5 Equivalent to a HNC or HND
Degree apprenticeships Level 6 Equivalent to a degree

We also offer traineeships and pre-apprenticeships if you do not meet the entry requirements for a Level 2 apprenticeship. View current vacancies for details.

You can apply for an apprenticeship at any time.

Higher Apprenticeships

These programmes are for experienced staff working in the relevant field.

  • Broadcast Production Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship
  • Care Leadership and Management Level 5 Higher Apprenticeship

Degree Apprenticeships

On a degree apprenticeship programme you get work experience, study at university and gain professional accreditation at the same time. Your employer will cover the costs so there are no tuition fees. You can apply for a degree apprenticeship if you have A levels, a level 3 BTEC or if you are a non-graduate working in the field.
