We offer Driver CPC Training courses at our Skills+Logistics Centre, Feltham. Book your place now at the special price of £60 per day, per driver (including upload fee).

The one day course will take place every Wednesday, starting 24 July. 

The five day course starts from Monday 15 July.

All professional bus, coach and lorry drivers are required to have up-to-date CPC training in order to drive in the UK and Europe. Drivers are required to do 35 hours of training every 5 years to keep your Driver CPC status.*

*If you miss the training deadline, it is illegal to drive professionally and you could be fined up to £1000.

Enrolment at West Thames College has started!

You can visit either our Isleworth and Feltham campuses to enrol but please make sure you read the information below to ensure you visit the right campus for your course area, and bring any documents you may need to bring with you.

If you're not sure which course is right for you, have a browse on our Course Explorer where there are a range of courses you can apply for online. Alternatively, if you would like some advice and guidance on choosing a course, please contact 020 8326 2000.

If you don’t get the grades you expected, or haven't yet applied please don’t worry! Come along and talk to one of our advisors who will be happy to discuss your options with you, and recommend any suitable courses you can enrol onto.

  • Which Campus Do I Visit?

    You will need to make sure that you go to the campus where your course is based. 

    Most courses are based at the Isleworth Campus: West Thames College, London Road, Isleworth, TW7 4HS

    Construction, Engineering and Motor Vehicle Maintenance courses are based at the Skills + Logistics Centre : 77 Boundaries Road, Feltham, TW13 5DR 

  • How Do I Enrol?

    Visit the college on any of the above opening hours to secure a place on your chosen course.

    It’s important that you visit the correct campus and bring with you your ID and evidence of exam results (along with details of any loans or financial assistance you’re applying for if you’re aged 19+).

    Already applied and received an offer?

    Please visit the college so our advisors can enrol you onto your chosen course to make you an official West Thames College student!

    I didn’t get the results I need – What next?

    We have a huge range of courses available at all levels, so if your results are lower than expected, make sure you still visit the college to enrol. Our Careers & Guidance team will help you discuss your options and help you get onto the right course.

    Applied and not received an offer / I haven’t applied yet

    Just come along to one of our enrolment days. We’ll make sure you speak to the right people and ensure that you’re enrolled onto the right course for you. Our Careers & Guidance team will help you discuss your options. You can apply and enrol on the same day!

  • What Happens At Enrolment?

    This will depend on the course you’ve chosen and if you’ve already applied or not, but will include:

    Filling in an application form (if you have already received an offer you skip this step)

    Speaking with an advisor to check through your academic evidence (certificates etc), and confirm the course you want to enrol on.

    Enrolling you onto your course to make you an official West Thames College student - which includes taking your photos for your College ID card!

    You may also have:

    English & Maths assessments if you are unable to provide evidence of your English & Maths GCSE grades. These assessments are not exams, they're just to check your current level so we can make sure you’re enrolled onto the right course.

  • What Do I Need To Bring?

    To enrol you will need to bring:

    • Exam result slips or certificates 
    • Enrolment letter and course offer (if you have received any) 
    • Evidence of any loans you will be receiving, including Student Loan and Advanced Learner Loan (if applicable)

    If you’re not an EU national you will also need to bring the following:

    • Evidence of your right to live and study in the UK 
    • Personal ID (e.g. passport)

    If you’re on income-based benefits and looking at a fee discount you'll need to bring the following: 

    • Evidence of benefits received in your household (e.g. official notification letter, or bank statement dated within the last two months showing your current address) 
    • Your National Insurance number if you receive JSA or ESA.
  • When Does My Course Start?

    Once you have completed enrolment you will be provided with a timetable. along with your start date.

There are different types of apprenticeships. The good news is that wherever you start, there will be an apprenticeship programme that is right for you.

Intermediate apprenticeships Level 2 Equivalent to 5 good GCSEs
Advanced apprenticeships Level 3 Equivalent to 2 A Levels or a Level 3 BTEC
Higher apprenticeships Level 4/5 Equivalent to a HNC or HND
Degree apprenticeships Level 6 Equivalent to a degree

Higher Apprenticeships

These programmes are for experienced staff working in the relevant field.

  • Broadcast Production Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship
  • Care Leadership and Management Level 5 Higher Apprenticeship

Degree Apprenticeships

On a degree apprenticeship programme you get work experience, study at university and gain professional accreditation at the same time. Your employer will cover the costs so there are no tuition fees. You can apply for a degree apprenticeship if you have A levels, a level 3 BTEC or if you are a non-graduate working in the field.
