Project Search is once again recruiting to its partnership programmes with Hounslow Council and pharmaceutical giant GSK.
Project Search is a work-based programme for young people with learning disabilities, which supports their move from education to employment. Over the duration of the programme, interns complete three different rotations of work experience within the host business, as well as completing a recognised qualification in Employability Skills.
Students have an extended work experience placement at either GSK or London Borough of Hounslow. They are taught by a West Thames College teacher and supported by a full-time job coach employed by Kaleidoscope Sabre. The project has been hugely successful with the rate of placement into employment at 70% and above.
There are Open Events for those wanting to sign up for the next Project Search intake.
