Charanjit is a Retired Educationalist, Ofsted inspector, and Chair and Trustee of a number of voluntary organisations.

She spent 25 years in schools, 9 years in college as a Governor and 18 years as a non-executive director in the NHS.

She had previous association with the College as a member of the Equalities Forum prior to becoming a Governor at the College

Charanjit has a deep passion for education of young people with wide experience of education in the equalities field and the diverse community and also felt that she has the skills to help as a volunteer governor after her retirement.

Her interests include Faith and Interfaith community work, cooking, knitting, reading and writing.
