Rose was delighted to join the West Thames governing body in May 2023 having just retired from over 30 years working in further education colleges in senior manager positions and more recently as a consultant. She is passionate about ensuring that young people and adults have the best life chances they can get and believes that further education transforms lives through learning.
In addition to her experience in teaching and learning she is also keen to ensure that students’ confidence and wellbeing is developed and promoted. She is passionate about inclusion in sport and the positive effects of participating in sports activities.
