About the Course
This course will give you an introduction to the methods and equipment used in the music industry and the skills necessary to express your ideas. It will also help to enhance your self-confidence and reveal the potential career demands and opportunities within the music sector. There will be opportunities to perform and record music and video and to collaborate with others on creative projects.

Entry Requirements
This course is appropriate for students who do not already have a level 2 qualification or higher (2 x grade 3 or D at GCSE). An interest in the subject of music is required. Skills in a musical instrument or with music making software are ideal, but not essential.

Assessment Method
Assessment is through assignment based work. The emphasis is on practical work, although there is a certain amount of written work required.
