About the Course
This Level 1 Carpentry course provides foundational knowledge and hands-on skills required for a career in the construction and carpentry industry. It is ideal for learners new to carpentry or those seeking a first qualification in the trade. The course is delivered over one academic year and is split into two key components: This is the second part of our the Level 1 Carpentry course for those that wish to continue studying.

Entry Requirements
Applicants with no GCSE passes (or equivalent) or those not studying towards GCSEs will be offered a place on our Level 1 provision. To study on this programme students will need to demonstrate an ability to achieve Level 1 English and maths by the end of the course. This provision is appropriate for applicants with additional support needs and/or an EHCP.
Next move - Depending on level achieved, progress onto a Level 2 course, an Apprenticeship or employment.
