About the Course
This course will encourage you to be adventurous and open minded in exploring a wide range of materials and processes through a series of mini projects including; Observational Studies, Surface Pattern and Textiles, Printmaking, Life Drawing and Photography.
You will develop personal skills and confidence in a range of creative design theories linked to artists and designer investigations, through research investigations and a gallery or exhibition visit. You will be given the opportunity to collaborate with your peers and develop personal presentation skills that you can use to showcase your artwork through digital portfolios, social media and blogs.

Entry Requirements
None but you will be asked to take part in an interview to discuss your interest in the subject.

Progression
You may wish to progress to the full Level 2 Diploma in Art & Design upon successfully finishing this 2-unit introduction course.
