This course is designed for adults who want to improve their English skills, build their confidence and enhance employability skills. This course is free (fully-funded) for adults with the right to remain in the UK. We offer 4 levels from Entry Level (for absolute beginners) to Level 1. At Entry level you will study 1 day per week (3 hours) for approximately 21 weeks. At Level 1, you will study 2 days per week (5 hours) for approximately 21 weeks. You will learn to improve your writing, reading, speaking and listening skills.

Progression
When you complete the course you can go on to a higher level course, such as Progression to Further Study and Employment.

Assessment Method
Your development and progress in the course will be assessed on a regular basis both informally and formally. You will receive regular feedback from your tutors about your progress. At the end of the course you will sit a final assessment in Functional Skills English, either paper-based (Entry levels) or on-screen (Level 1).
