Hamid Ibrahim, a distinguished alumnus of West Thames College, has achieved remarkable success in the field of digital animation and creative media. Originally from Uganda, Hamid's passion for storytelling and animation was nurtured during his time at West Thames College, where he completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animation. This foundation paved the way for his further studies and professional accomplishments.
After graduating from the University of Hertfordshire with a BA (Hons) in Digital Animation in 2017, Hamid co-founded Kugali Media, an innovative company dedicated to telling African stories through various media, including comics, augmented reality, and animation. His notable work includes collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios to create "Iwájú," a groundbreaking African sci-fi series on Disney+.
