Marta Gajewska is the CEO and Principal of West Thames College (WTC), an Outstanding Further and Higher Education College located in West London, in the London Borough of Hounslow. The College serves a diverse and highly inclusive community, providing high-quality education, training and support that enables learners of all backgrounds to thrive and achieve their ambitions. Key partners of the College include West London Chambers and Ambitious about Autism, which are co-located on the College's Isleworth campus.
With over 23 years of experience in the Education Sector, Marta began her career after qualifying as an IT and ESOL teacher. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to educational excellence, social mobility and widening participation, helping learners develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to succeed in further study, employment and life.
Marta plays an active leadership role across the borough and wider region, serving on a number of strategic boards focused on education, skills, employment and economic development. She is also a Board Member of Ambitious about Autism, reflecting her commitment to promoting inclusion and improving outcomes for young people with additional needs.
A passionate advocate for collaboration and partnership working, Marta works closely with employers, local authorities and community organisations to ensure that education and skills provision align with local and regional workforce needs. She is dedicated to creating opportunities that enables all students to fulfil their potential, achieve their qualifications and develop the skills, resilience and aspirations required for successful and rewarding careers.
