Advanced students who want a career in the travel and tourism industry.
You will develop practical skills and essential know-how for the rapidly expanding travel and tourism industry through a combination of lectures, workshops, personal research and assignments. You will develop general and specialist management skills, communication and presentation skills. Core subjects will provide you with a general understanding of the industry, and a large number of specialist units are focused on developing specific skills and knowledge of the industry.

This course consists of the 90-credit Diploma in Year 1 followed by the Extended Diploma in Year 2.

All units are assessed via assignments. An overall grade for the qualification is awarded which has UCAS equivalency and is recognised by universities in the UK when establishing their entry requirements for higher education.
Employment with a tour operator, travel agent, hotel or hospitality provider. You may wish to continue your studies with an HND or degree programme in Travel and Tourism Management.
