This exciting, intensive 1-year makeup course will enable you to develop the essential skills needed for a career in specialist makeup. You may also study Functional Skills or GCSE English and maths.

There will be a trip to a cultural city abroad and visits to local and West End theatre productions. You will have the opportunity to compete in national makeup competitions including World Skills and you will attend the International Makeup Artist Trade Show at Alexandra Palace. These visits will incur additional costs but financial assistance may be available.
You may wish to attend work placements in hair salons, theatres or with makeup artists. Communication between the college and industry enables employers and tutors to work together, enhancing your progression and quality of training.

This course is free for students under 19 years, however you will need to purchase kits, a logbook and uniform (£532.30) plus an optional airbrush (£66.30). Students progressing from the Level 2 course will need to purchase kits and logbook (£395.30) plus an optional new uniform (£39) and optional airbrush (£66.30).
