Foundation Business and Travel with ESOL

Foundation Learning courses are designed to give you the skills to progress to Level 2. This course is for students whose first language is not English and is ideal for those progressing from an ESOL 16-18 course.

Who is this course for?

Young people whose first language is not English. This course is ideal for those progressing from an ESOL 16-18 course.

About the course

You will study:

  • Managing your health
  • Working in business administration
  • Recording business transactions
  • Planning for and taking part in a visit
  • Planning for a job in Travel and Tourism.

You will also work towards an ESOL and maths qualification.

Additional opportunities

Your course will include trips and visits.

How will I be assessed?

All vocational units are assessed through practical assignments which are graded and an overall qualification grade calculated from the unit grades.

Where next?

If you successfully complete all the modules you can go on to a Level 2 course, such as the BTEC Level 2 First Extended Certificate / BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Business.

Entry requirements
