Plumbing Operations - Level 1 (Evening)

This evening course for adults, based at the West Thames College Skills + Logistics Centre Feltham, is designed to develop plumbing skills and an understanding of health and safety requirements. It is an excellent introduction for anyone who wants to go on to further training or employment in the building services sector. You will work towards a nationally recognised qualification while gaining skills and knowledge in practical and theory sessions.

It is held Monday and Wednesdays evenings from 6 to 9.15pm for 1 year.

Who is this course for?

Adults who want to develop plumbing skills with a view towards employment in this sector.

About the course

You will be given opportunities to develop your practical skills in our plumbing workshops and be supported in completing a learner portfolio of evidence. This will ensure that you have a clear understanding of the theory aspects of plumbing trade activities.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by means of practical assessments and a learner's portfolio.

Where next?

When you have completed this course you can progress to the Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to Plumbing Skills.
