Recruitment Service

LSA [Logistics Skills Alliance] offers employers a free recruitment service to find suitable candidates for full-time [Full-time courses consist of 12-16 hours study per week. International students on full-time courses must study a minimum of 15 hours per week.], part-time, Apprenticeship and Traineeship Roles.  We’ll:

  • Help you write your job description
  • Advertise your vacancies locally and nationally
  • Help you interview candidates to find the right employee
  • Provide you with advice and guidance on how to support an Apprentice or Trainee

Training Service

The LSA [Logistics Skills Alliance] works with in partnership with West Thames College and specialist training providers to offer employers and employees training solutions which have been built by employers and employees with an understanding of the needs of logistics companies and logistics people. These solutions are linked to core competencies in jobs in logistics covering the three main areas in logistics:

  • Transport
  • Storage & Handling
  • Other Logistics Operations

We offer both government funded and non-funded training solutions. 


  • Access government support and grants to offset cost of wages
  • Advertise vacancies free of charge locally and nationally
  • Dedicated Account Manager to personalise your recruitment and training needs
  • Free Organisational Needs Analysis and Training Needs Analysis to identify your staff training requirements

Join the LSA [Logistics Skills Alliance]

We are a network whose people work in logistics. Specifically set up for employers in the sector, it’s free and we always want to talk to logistics companies, small and large – about joining us. Here are some of the things we do:

  • Work with employers to design new training programmes and qualifications
  • Listen to employers about new ideas for recruitment and training in the sector
  • Be a voice for logistics to Government, Sector Skills Councils and funding organisations
  • Host regular logistics Networking Events
  • Deliver recruitment and training solutions in logistics
