The Logistics Skills Alliance (LSA [Logistics Skills Alliance]) was formed in 2013 by West Thames College, Hounslow Chamber of Commerce and Skills for Logistics. Led by Carl Lomas MBE, the LSA [Logistics Skills Alliance] represents a network of West London employers, who handle, move and store goods or materials.

The LSA [Logistics Skills Alliance] aims to bring young people and logistics employers together and provide a network for employers to share new ideas, support, guidance, jobs and training.

At its 2013 launch event, Carl Lomas said "The LSA [Logistics Skills Alliance] based at West Thames College will focus on the logistics hot spot of Heathrow. Its aim is to create job opportunities in this growing and vibrant sector through apprenticeships & traineeships."
